Hampton Court and Dittons Regatta 2010

Excellent performances from two of our new racing novices, Collen 'Dynamo' Dawson & Samantha Grey-Wilson who won their Ladies Novice 'Restricted' Doubles category expertly coxed & cajoled down the course by Janet Dutton. If you want to know how Collen got her nickname just watch the speed at which she gets into a boat from the bow. She also put up a valiant fight in winning her first heat in the Ladies Novice 'Restricted' singles after very few training outings beforehand.

Well done to all the other old hands & novices that participated & tried their utmost to emulate our successful ladies. All in all a very enjoyable day for those taking part & spectators alike. The question is ...... What is the dashing Stephen Russell doing in the water up to his waist holding a skiff? ...... that's one for a Thursday night beer down the Club.
